Kevin Hassett'Freak''s Crazy Economy Lies: Pollsters Only Polling Angry Democrats Aaron Rupar Over Photo Of Side Kick Natalie Harp

Trump's favorite economic henchman, Kevin Hassett, told Fox News Sunday that he disregards the dismal economic polling data because, according to him, every pollster only surveys angry Democrats who hate Trump.
This is ludicrous on every level.
Hassett cherry-picks economic numbers he can manipulate like David Blaine's card magic to make it seem like the US economy is booming while 98% of Americans are suffering.
Hassett talks about historical significance but ignores that Biden was trying to clean up Trump's horrific handling of the pandemic when he took office. COVID supply-chain blockages and Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 drove the surge in inflation.
Yet Hassett conveniently dwells on 2022 to defend Trump now.
"The bottom line is that Biden's economy, right before that election, was truly horrible. We were heading up towards almost close to above 10 to 12 percent inflation," he said. "Real wages were dropping by about 3,000."
Hassett then lied about today's economy.
HASSETT: And so then you ask yourself, OK, if that's a reasonable estimate of what people think about the economy, how come now that we have this booming economy, they say that it's worse? And the answer is that they're surveying Democrats who hate President Trump. That's all. And so, therefore, I disregard that number.
The US economy was in great shape when Trump took office. Trump's illegal tariff schemes, moronic trade wars, and his war with Iran have thrown the country's economic viability into chaos.
Hassett disregards every polling number on Trump's economy because there isn't a single poll that backs up his off-the-wall claim that the economy is booming.
The upper 5% of the country is feeling fine because it holds most of the wealth and benefits from his Big Ugly tax breaks — and that's all Hassett cares about.
Shannon Bream failed to push back against Hassett's assertion that pollsters are only "surveying Democrats," which is a bald-faced lie, since pollsters fully disclose their methodology.
That's par for the course for the US media.

Justifications for Not Getting Botox
You just want to buy a caftan at Chico’s without being eyed suspiciously.
A smooth countenance does not go with the orthopedic shoes you’ve been rocking.
If you’ve got a Hotmail account, the jig is up anyway.
You want to rob a bank while remaining invisible to everyone.
You’re afraid of getting too much Botox and being given a job at Mar-a-Lago.
Your face might become frozen in a grotesque state of perpetual astonishment, which will make your dinner party seatmate drone on about his philosophy dissertation from the 1990s because you obviously find it fascinating.
You hope your frequent pauses in speech will be interpreted as measured wisdom instead of peri-menopausal brain rot.
NEEDLES.
The salespeople at Sephora will leave you the hell alone.
You enjoy scowling disdainfully at man-spreaders on public transport.
You want to ensure the continued delivery of your Soft Surroundings catalog.
What if the med spa accidentally injects your face with Ozempic instead of Botox, and then your head shrinks to the size of a thumb and you end up looking like Harry the Hunter from Beetlejuice?
You don’t want people using your forehead to check their teeth for spinach.
People will take you more seriously when you divulge your Hall & Oates obsession.
You already have old-lady hands. When you bring your silverware up to your lineless face, it looks like you’re being spoon-fed by an invisible grandma.
You’re jonesing for that 10 percent senior discount at the movies before you’re legally entitled to it.
A face with patina inspires more confidence than the face of Janice the Muppet.

In a rather dramatic temper tantrum that would leave even the crankiest of toddlers in awe of the sheer devotion to pitching an absolute rager of a fit, the Trump Administration's "Rapid Response 47" X account set its sights on popular liberal journalist and "sick, deluded freak" Aaron Rupar, as they seem to have grown fed up with all the attention the infamous Natalie Harp is getting these days.
Over the weekend, Donald Trump visited Ireland to attend the Irish Open golf tournament, hosted at his Trump International Golf Links resort in Doonbeg.
And wouldn't you know, his blonde "binkie" was all but attached to his hip the entire time -- something Rupar pointed out in a post on X, complete with a photo for proof.
Rupar, who has risen to internet fame over the years for his long-running devotion to providing the world with convenient clips of Donald Trump's shenanigans, wrote alongside a photo of Harp, "Look who made the trip to Ireland!" with the hashtag "Travel With Natalie."

Apparently, that was enough to make "Rapid Response 47" see red.
"President Trump does, in fact, travel with staff," the Trump White House-backed account wrote in response to Rupar's post, before digging into their litany of super-gross insults and name-calling: "Aaron, on the other hand, is a sick, deluded freak (in his 40s) who sits behind a keyboard and posts creepy things like this."

And again:
For the second straight day, the White House's taxpayer-funded incitement account is attacking me and oddly mentioning I'm in my 40s (which I know makes me way too old for the president) When they do this it results in a flood of harassing and threatening messages, which of course is the point — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-09-13T22:40:49.575Z
Rupar was quick with what is undoubtedly the comeback of the millennium, commenting, "I know being in my 40s makes me too old for the president but I’m at peace with it."

The former Vox reporter, now an independent journalist and self-described "lifelong liberal Democrat," has not shied away from covering the president's human shadow, whose deeply disturbing obsession with Donald Trump has dominated recent headlines.
While Harp was glued to the president's side throughout his Ireland trip, his wife, Melania, notably was not, with Trump stating in a Saturday morning speech that the first lady was there "in spirit," as there was simply no ignoring the fact that she certainly wasn't there in person.

4.82% in August
Food inflation remains a key pressure point
Wholesale fuel inflation jumps over 22%
What economists expect next
RBI rate outlook in focus
India’s retail inflation accelerated in August, while wholesale inflation moved closer to double digits, pointing to renewed price pressures across food, fuel and manufactured goods.Consumer Price Index (CPI)-based retail inflation rose to, from 4.45% in July, according to data released by the ministry of statistics & programme implementation. The August reading was the highest under the new CPI series, which began in January, and was marginally above the 4.80% estimate in a Reuters poll.Wholesale price-based inflation, meanwhile, rose to 9.92% in August from 9.78% in July, according to data released by the commerce and industry ministry. It was the second-highest reading in the new WPI series, which has 2022-23 as its base year.Retail food inflation, measured by the Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI), rose to 5.95% in August, compared with 5.52% in July.Food inflation was higher in rural areas at 6.13%, while urban food inflation stood at 5.64%. Overall CPI inflation was also higher in rural areas at 5.23%, compared with 4.31% in urban areas, according to the official data.Among CPI divisions, personal care, social protection and related goods and services recorded the highest inflation at 15.17%, followed by restaurants and accommodation services at 8.38%.Food and beverages recorded inflation of 5.66%, while paan, tobacco and intoxicants registered 4.71%. Transport inflation stood at 4.60%, followed by education services at 3.73% and clothing and footwear at 3.56%.Health recorded the lowest inflation among the tracked divisions at 1.34%.On the wholesale side, food inflation increased to 7.05% in August from 6.65% in July.Fuel and power emerged as a major driver of the increase in WPI inflation.Wholesale inflation in the fuel and power basket rose sharply to 22.93% in August from 20.05% in July. The commerce and industry ministry said mineral oils, food articles, manufactured food products, basic metals, non-food articles and chemicals were among the major drivers of overall WPI inflation.Manufactured products inflation also rose to a series high of 8.37% in August, from 8.29% in July.Barclays said the increase in fuel and power inflation was driven by higher mineral oils and natural gas and petroleum prices amid an increase in international energy prices. The recent rise in inflation has also raised concerns over the outlook for monetary policy.Barclays said the rebound in global energy prices amid the renewed escalation in West Asia would continue to put upward pressure on WPI and producer prices. It said it no longer expected “any meaningful moderation in the upcoming inflation prints”.According to news agency PTI, India Ratings and Research chief economist Devendra Pant said the prolonged West Asia crisis had reversed the two-month decline in fuel and power inflation and that the pressure was likely to remain elevated until the crisis was resolved.Ind-Ra expects wholesale inflation to rise to 10.2% in September and remain elevated through the rest of the year unless a permanent solution to the West Asia crisis is achieved.ICRA principal economist Rahul Agrawal said food inflation could harden further in September and October because of an unfavourable base and stronger sequential increases in some food items, including sugar. He expects WPI inflation to remain above 9.5-10% in September-October before cooling thereafter, aided by a favourable base, unless global energy and commodity prices rise further. The August CPI reading remains within the Reserve Bank of India’s 2-6% inflation tolerance band, but economists differed on the likelihood and timing of a rate hike.According to Reuters, ICRA chief economist Aditi Nayar said a rate hike could come in December, particularly if inflationary pressures broaden and crude prices remain elevated. If crude prices stay high ahead of the October Monetary Policy Committee meeting, she said the hike could be brought forward to October.HDFC Bank principal economist Sakshi Gupta expects inflation to move above 5% from October but said the RBI could keep the policy rate unchanged in October and remain in a wait-and-watch mode.Anand Rathi chief economist Sujan Hajra said the policy environment did not support monetary easing, given robust economic growth, elevated inflation and pressure on the rupee. He said the repo rate was likely to remain unchanged for an extended period, with the possibility of a rate cut now remote.Oxford Economics lead economist Alexandra Hermann Prasad said price pressures were likely to continue rising, with inflation potentially moving above 5% and breaching the RBI’s 6% upper tolerance limit in the fourth quarter. At the same time, IDFC Bank chief economist Gaura Sengupta said core-core inflation, which captures demand-side inflation, remained benign and expected FY27 CPI inflation to average around 5%, driven mainly by supply-side factors such as food and fuel.
