Justin Sun, founder of Tron DAO, has stated that the Trump administration has provided the cryptocurrency industry with a two-year grace period to demonstrate its benefits to ordinary citizens. This statement highlights a regulatory environment that may be temporarily more lenient for digital assets. Sun’s comments come amid stalled legislative efforts in the U.S. Congress to establish comprehensive crypto market regulations, leaving the industry to navigate a landscape increasingly shaped by agency-led initiatives.
The current regulatory climate, coupled with Sun’s remarks, appears to influence market perceptions positively, particularly concerning Bitcoin’s future price potential. This development could imply that market participants are factoring in potential regulatory leniency as a supportive element for future cryptocurrency growth. Despite the lack of new statutory frameworks, the crypto sector continues to operate under interim guidance from regulatory bodies like the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
In related market activity, the prediction market for Bitcoin reaching $200,000 by the end of 2026 remains notably low, with odds indicating a minimal expectation of such an outcome. However, the positive sentiment expressed by Sun could impact future pricing dynamics as participants reassess the regulatory landscape and its implications for Bitcoin and broader crypto valuation.
Key Takeaways
Justin Sun’s statement suggests a perceived temporary regulatory leniency for the cryptocurrency sector under the Trump administration.
The lack of comprehensive legislation indicates a shift towards regulation led by agencies like the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Market perceptions influenced by Sun’s comments may affect future expectations for Bitcoin’s price trajectory.
What to Watch
Observers should monitor any further regulatory developments from U.S. agencies and potential legislative moves in Congress that could definitively shape the digital asset landscape. Additionally, market reactions to Sun’s remarks could evolve, influencing Bitcoin’s pricing in prediction markets. Future announcements from key financial institutions or government bodies could significantly impact market sentiment and pricing dynamics.

Young Liu says the iPhone assembler could control half of AI server supply within a couple of years, up from around 40% today
Foxconn already builds a huge share of the machines that power the AI boom. Its chairman says that share could keep climbing.
In an interview with CNBC’s Christine Tan, Hon Hai Technology Group Chairman Young Liu said Foxconn’s slice of the global AI server market could reach 50% in a couple of years. For a company long known mainly as Apple’s iPhone assembler, that is quite a career change.
From around 40% to half the market
Liu put Foxconn’s current share of the global AI server market at around 40%. He said it could rise to roughly 45% next year before potentially reaching 50% within a few years.
“I think we can grow up to 50 percent,” Liu said.
Liu also told CNBC that Foxconn is looking to boost manufacturing in the United States.
The growth so far has been steep. Foxconn’s AI server share was about 30% in 2023, according to the research findings. It has since moved to an estimated 40%.
The iPhone company is now a server company
The revenue mix tells the story better than any slogan. By the second quarter of 2026, Foxconn’s cloud and networking division accounted for 51% of total revenue, the research findings show.
That figure stood at 41% in the second quarter of 2025. The division has now overtaken the smart consumer electronics segment, which includes iPhone assembly.
Profit followed. Foxconn posted record net profit of NT$60 billion, roughly $1.86 billion, in the second quarter of 2026.

Production is scaling too. AI server rack shipments are expected to more than double year-over-year in 2026, according to the research findings.
Output from the company’s Houston facility is set to ramp to 2,000 racks per week.
Foxconn is also spending outside Taiwan and the US. The company announced a US$136 million investment in Mexico in October 2026 to expand AI server production capacity.
Why the US push matters
The Houston facility is a central piece of that footprint. A ramp to 2,000 racks per week from a single US site would give Foxconn a meaningful domestic presence close to many of its cloud customers.
Foxconn’s relationship with Nvidia is part of the backdrop. The research findings point to major partnerships with firms like Nvidia as a driver of the company’s strong revenue growth.
What this means for the AI hardware race
For investors, the clearest signal is that AI infrastructure spending still appears to be flowing through the supply chain at scale. Foxconn’s forecast of doubling rack shipments implies customers are still placing large orders.
The research findings note Foxconn’s push could set a competitive precedent that pressures rivals and influences pricing strategies across the server market.
Liu framed the 50% figure as something Foxconn “can” reach, and the timeline is a couple of years out.
What to watch next is fairly concrete. Liu’s own markers provide the scorecard: around 45% share next year, and the Houston ramp toward 2,000 racks per week.
Quarterly revenue mix will also be telling. If the cloud and networking division keeps widening its lead over consumer electronics, the company’s identity shift will be hard to dispute.

Chairman Young Liu flagged new work with OpenAI at Hon Hai Tech Day and forecast double-digit growth for next year
Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer, has another project brewing with OpenAI. Chairman Young Liu flagged the collaboration on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the company’s annual Hon Hai Tech Day in Taipei.
Liu also had a message for anyone nervously watching AI valuations. He said he does not see an AI bubble.
What Foxconn actually said
The announcement came after Liu met OpenAI CEO Sam Altman earlier the same day. Liu said Foxconn is developing a new partnership with the AI developer. He did not lay out the scope, the timeline or any financial terms.
Liu paired the OpenAI news with a confident outlook for Foxconn itself. He forecast that the company will post double-digit growth next year, pointing to what he sees as durable demand for AI technology.
Foxconn has numbers to anchor that optimism. The company currently holds 40% of the global AI server market. It aims to lift that share to 45% in 2027, and research on the company suggests it could potentially reach 50% within a few years.
Building on a 2025 deal
This is not a first date. In November 2025, Foxconn and OpenAI agreed to co-design and manufacture components for AI data centers in the US.
That earlier arrangement came with no financial obligations attached. What OpenAI did get was early evaluation access to the hardware, along with options to make purchases down the line.
Foxconn is already the largest manufacturer of AI servers for Nvidia, the dominant supplier of AI chips.

Factories in Texas, ambitions everywhere
Foxconn’s US footprint is part of the pitch. The company runs multiple manufacturing facilities in the country, including six buildings in Houston, Texas.
It plans to expand production capacity as demand for AI infrastructure grows. The 2025 agreement with OpenAI was specifically focused on US data center hardware, so domestic manufacturing is central to the partnership rather than a side detail.
Foxconn is also leaning on vertical integration. The company’s capabilities stretch from individual components all the way to complete rack-scale systems.
Over the coming years, AI infrastructure is expected to drive a growing share of Foxconn’s revenue growth.
What this means
For investors tracking AI hardware, the most concrete signal here is not the OpenAI news itself. It is Liu’s forecast of double-digit growth combined with the market share targets. Those are numbers Foxconn can be held to, and they suggest the company expects orders to keep flowing through 2027.
The OpenAI collaboration is strategically interesting but financially undefined for now. Given that the 2025 deal carried no financial obligations, the market will want to see whether this next phase converts options into actual purchase commitments.
The risk for Foxconn lies in concentration. A company holding 40% of the AI server market, and aiming for more, is deeply tied to the spending plans of a relatively small group of hyperscalers and AI labs.
On the competitive front, a 45% target for 2027 implies Foxconn intends to take share from rival server makers rather than simply ride overall growth. Its vertical integration and US manufacturing base are the tools it is betting on to do that, particularly as customers prioritize domestic production for data center hardware.
What to watch next: any disclosure of the OpenAI collaboration’s scope, whether the new arrangement includes binding orders, progress on Houston capacity expansion, and whether quarterly results bear out Liu’s double-digit growth call.

Anthropic, the artificial intelligence lab known for its Claude AI, has announced a substantial commitment of up to $567 billion for compute and infrastructure spending. This allocation underscores the company’s significant growth ambitions and potential to enhance its competitive stance against major players like OpenAI. The investment range stems from Anthropic’s IPO prospectus, which outlines $417 billion in minimum compute obligations and up to $150 billion in additional capacity. These commitments are expected to drive demand for infrastructure suppliers, although specific partnerships with Caterpillar, Bloom Energy, and GE Vernova were not detailed in the disclosures.
Key Takeaways
Anthropic’s substantial commitment to infrastructure spending suggests a strategic focus on scaling operations, which markets interpret as supportive of a higher valuation.
Current market pricing for Anthropic’s valuation by December 31 suggests a 5% probability of reaching or exceeding $600 billion.
The company’s infrastructure plans appear consistent with efforts to bolster its competitive position in the AI landscape, potentially influencing valuation expectations.
What to Watch
Market participants will be closely watching for any announcements regarding new funding rounds, strategic partnerships, or revenue growth that could impact Anthropic’s valuation trajectory. Developments such as increased investments from major partners like Amazon or Google, or successful enterprise contracts, could be seen as supportive of higher valuation scenarios. Conversely, any delays or reductions in partnerships may suggest challenges in achieving these valuation milestones.

30 October 2026 — British Virgin Islands — USDD has reported strong treasury performance in Q3 2026, alongside continued growth in key metrics, including circulating supply and total value locked (TVL). These latest milestones reflect the protocol’s expanding ecosystem, with growing multichain adoption, new DeFi integrations, and broader opportunities for users to earn, transfer, and deploy USDD.
As a decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin, USDD is focused on combining stability with practical utility. Let’s take a closer look at the key developments behind USDD’s recent growth.
USDD’s Growing Market Presence: New Milestones
According to a recent report jointly published by RWA Foundation and Token Terminal, USDD recorded the largest market capitalization increase among the top 10 stablecoin issuers during October 12–19, 2026. USDD’s market capitalization grew by $180.3 million, accounting for approximately 40% of the combined $449.1 million increase recorded by the top 10 issuers.
For comparison, Sky ranked second with an increase of $86 million, while United Stables recorded growth of $22.8 million. This performance highlights USDD’s strong momentum relative to other major stablecoin projects.
As of October 29, 2026, USDD’s circulating supply has also surpassed $1.48 billion, reinforcing its position as the largest decentralized stablecoin on TRON. Meanwhile, protocol TVL has reached $2.18 billion, reflecting the substantial value of assets supporting the ecosystem.
Beyond these figures, USDD’s expanding DeFi integrations and transfer solutions are creating more opportunities for users to put their stablecoins to work. This growing utility provides an important foundation for broader adoption.
Expanding Utility: More Ways to Earn and Transfer USDD
Beyond financial performance, USDD continues to expand its practical applications through new DeFi partnerships and transfer integrations. These developments focus on two important user needs: earning competitive yields and moving stablecoins conveniently.
More Earning Opportunities Across DeFi
USDD Earn allows users to deposit USDD and receive sUSDD, currently offering a base APY of 4% with flexible withdrawals and no fixed lockup period. Users can also explore additional earning opportunities through partner platforms.
USDD has partnered with Binance Wallet and Gate DEX to expand earning opportunities, while campaigns such as TRON DeFi Summer provide additional incentives for users, allowing them to maximize their earning opportunities. For experienced users, there are also advanced lending and looping strategies on Pendle and Morpho to further increase earning potential.
Together, these integrations give users more flexibility to choose strategies based on their investment preferences and risk tolerance. Yields are subject to change, and advanced DeFi strategies involve additional risks.
Making Transfers Easier with GasFree and TokenPocket
USDD is also making transfers simpler and more affordable through integrations with GasFree and TokenPocket. Both solutions allow users to pay supported transaction fees directly in USDD on TRON without separately holding TRX.
On August 17, 2026, GasFree integrated USDD, marking a significant step toward making USDD transfers simpler, more efficient, and more cost-effective for everyday on-chain use. USDD currently supports GasFree transfers on TRON. The wallets currently supporting GasFree access are TronLink, Guarda, Klever Wallet, and eDir. Through GasFree, USDD transfers have cost approximately 0.5 USDD per transaction, compared with approximately 1.5 USDT for comparable USDT transfers.
TokenPocket provides another way to make USDD transfers simpler. With USDD supported as a network fee payment option on TokenPocket, users can keep their transfer activity centered around USDD. TokenPocket’s Gas Boost Season campaign has also offered a 50% gas fee subsidy for users paying gas with USDD, further reducing costs for eligible users.
These integrations help reduce friction for wallet-to-wallet transfers, payments, and everyday on-chain activities. By combining earning opportunities with convenient transfers, USDD is becoming more practical for users beyond simply holding or trading stablecoins.
Multichain Expansion: Growing Across TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain
USDD’s growing presence across TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain is another important part of its ecosystem development, allowing it to reach more users and connect with a broader range of DeFi applications. Ethereum, in particular, accounts for a significant share of USDD’s multichain supply. As of October 29, 2026, $329.94 million of USDD’s $1.48 billion total circulating supply is on Ethereum, representing approximately 22.3%. Supporting multiple networks allows USDD to reach more users and connect with a wider range of DeFi applications.
TRON remains a core ecosystem, with integrations such as Binance Wallet, GasFree, and TokenPocket supporting both earning and transferring. These applications strengthen USDD’s utility within TRON’s established stablecoin infrastructure.
On Ethereum and BNB Chain, USDD and sUSDD provide access to additional DeFi opportunities. This broader network presence allows users to explore different earning products, lending markets, and liquidity opportunities across ecosystems.
For USDD, multichain expansion is not simply about being available on more blockchains. It is about giving users more ways to put their assets to work and expanding the stablecoin’s practical applications.
Record Treasury Performance in Q3
As USDD expands its earning opportunities, transfer utility, and multichain presence, its financial performance and key protocol metrics are also showing steady progress, reflecting growth across both its ecosystem and treasury.
USDD’s latest Treasury Report in Q3 2026 revealed another strong quarter, with revenue reaching $9.70 million, up 26.7% quarter over quarter. The treasury balance also surpassed $30 million for the first time, reaching $31.24 million.
A major contributor to this performance was Smart Allocator, USDD’s on-chain asset allocation system, which generated $9.11 million in Q3 income. By deploying funds from USDD’s protocol capital across selected DeFi strategies, Smart Allocator supports the protocol’s approach to generating sustainable yields over the long term.
Its investment activities and performance are also publicly visible on-chain, allowing users to monitor how assets are allocated. Together, these results demonstrate USDD’s growing income-generating capabilities and commitment to transparency.

Beyond the Numbers: What’s Next for USDD?
USDD’s recent milestones reflect progress across three key areas: growing market presence, stronger treasury performance, and expanding ecosystem utility.
With circulating supply surpassing $1.48 billion, protocol TVL reaching $2.18 billion, and Q3 treasury revenue totaling $9.70 million, USDD has demonstrated significant momentum. At the same time, integrations with treasured ecosystem partners such as Binance Wallet, Gate DEX, GasFree, and TokenPocket are expanding the ways users can earn and transfer USDD.
Looking ahead, continued development across TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain will create further opportunities to connect USDD with new applications and users. While future growth depends on market conditions and adoption, the latest milestones highlight USDD’s progress toward building a more accessible and useful decentralized stablecoin ecosystem.
